After working in the IT industry for 15 years, I decided to pursue my love of photography more seriously. I have worked as a TV camera operator and also made documentary films.
I shoot mostly landscapes, but am fascinated by nature itself; from a single tree, to a rock, to a flower petal, to raindrops etc.. When I photograph people, I prefer natural settings where the person can feel comfortable and natural.
I am based in Toronto Canada as well as Tokyo Japan. I travel often, and depending on the circumstances, I switch between a Canon 5DMkIII and a mirrorless Canon, Olympus, or Sony on a packable Gitzo tripod. I am an accredited member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC), I am fluent in English and Japanese.
